Pete and I went up to the mountains and had a fabulous time hiking El Morado. The town "On the edge of Chile" as they call it borders Argentina and sits at approximately 8,500 feet. We were able to hike up to the Aguas Panimavidas which was straight up (no joke) ending us at a destination of 9,950 feet. The El Morado Peak itself sits at 16,661 feet and is an amazing sight. The pictures that we took really don't do it justice.
